Residential Painter

J’s Painting is hiring a residential painter to join our small Quad Cities crew. You’ll work alongside Justin on interior and exterior jobs — walls, trim, ceilings, doors, siding, shutters. Most of our work is in occupied homes, so the people who do well here are the ones who show up on time, communicate clearly with the homeowner, and leave the house cleaner than they found it.
What you’ll do
- Prep surfaces: sand, caulk, patch, mask, and prime as the job calls for
- Cut in, roll, and spray — interior walls/trim and exterior siding/trim
- Cover floors, furniture, and landscaping before paint touches anything
- Keep the homeowner in the loop on what’s happening that day
- Clean up the work area at the end of every day, not just at the end of the job
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of professional painting experience
- Comfortable on extension ladders and working at height
- Own transportation to the job site, valid driver’s license
- Reliable — when you say you’ll be there at 7, you’re there at 7
- Respectful around customers, pets, and kids
